February 2020 Newsletter
Hello CBA Families!
Is it February already?
Time is flying by this school year! February is going to be a fun and exciting month for our students and for you, so please keep track of all important dates!
February also begins Read Across America. As your child reads books with you and your family, remember to write the name of the book on the weekly reading sheet and turn it in every Friday until March 6th . Our goal is to read 3000 books. If we have each child submit that they have read at least 25 books in the next month we can easily meet our goal. When our goal is met the children will have the opportunity to turn Ms. Adrienne, Ms. Dana, and Ms. Christina into human sundaes!
Please remember:
- School starts at 9am. We want your child to embrace all that CBA has to offer and get the most out of our curriculum.
- Please be safe and slow down when driving in the parking lot. Be mindful when backing into and out of parking spaces, especially as families are helping their children in and out of the vehicle. Also please turn off your vehicles when you enter the school. Cars should not be idling in the parking lot. We ask this for the safety of our children.
*Please Parents—The weather can get very chilly during the winter months, please make sure you have spare clothes that are weather appropriate, including a jacket, gloves and hat!
*Reminder that payment is due the Friday before the following week! If payment is received after noon Monday, a late payment fee of $25 will be assessed. Thank you!
Important Dates:
*February 2nd – Ground Hog Day
*February 3rd – Wear Your Favorite Football Shirt
*February 5th – Make a Smoothie with your class.

**Sick Policy: To ensure the health and safety of all of our children and staff, please remember to adhere to our sick policy which states: “a child must be free of all symptoms without medication for at least 24 hours before he/she can be returned to school. Following an illness, a child may return to school once he/she has either been seen by a doctor or it has been determined that the illness is not contagious. (A doctor’s clearance may be requested).” All of us truly appreciate your support with this matter!
It is my commitment to support the needs of your children, your families, and the school. It is my passion to see your children succeed and thrive in their educational environment. If you have any questions or concerns, my door is always open and you can email me at adrienne.nwude@nlcinc.com.
