October at Chesterbrook Academy

Dear Chesterbrook Families,

Our first month of the 2020-2021 school year is behind us and we look forward to October, with its cooler weather, colorful leaves and Halloween! September was a successful month with many of our families returning to school and new friends joining us. We have all adjusted to our “new normal” and our students continue to amaze us with their resilience and positivity!

The excitement of Halloween is always in the air by this time with children planning which costume they will wear! Safety regulations remain in place that do not allow us to have our traditional Halloween Parade and Trunk-or-Treat but we aren’t going to let that stop us! The parade and trick-or-treating will go on. Our Halloween Parade will be virtual this year and 0ur kiddos will go “trick-or-treating” on the playground. More details to be provided as we get closer to the date.

Here are a few more special events for October:

October 2- Kids Music Day: Children will make musical instruments in class!

October 5- World Teacher Day: Make a special card or write a thank you note to your teacher

October 7- You Matter to Me Day: Tell someone you love how special they are to you

October 12-16- Donations for the Voorhees Animal Orphanage collected

October 21- PJ Day: Wear your favorite pajamas to school!

October 20- Halloween “Trick-or-Treat” and Virtual Halloween Parade

Thank you for your continued support of Chesterbrook Academy Marlton! Please see Kasey with any questions, concerns and compliments.
