We hope everyone had a great January! We hope everyone had a wonderful New Years celebration and long weekend
that came with it! On Saturday, January 23, we held an Open House from 10 am to 1 pm for prospective parents, and had a great turnout with 5 families attending. Please keep in mind that through our Parent Referral Program, you can receive one FREE week of tuition if you refer someone to Chesterbrook Academy on Providence Road West.
February is always a fun month! We have Groundhog Day (spoiler alert: he saw his shadow and we have 6 more weeks of winter!) and Valentine’s Day parties! Also, please remember that we will be closed on Monday, February 15 (President’s Day) for our bi-annual Professional Development Day. We are closed for families on this day, but we will have trainings and workshops for all of our teachers. Finally, Links to Learning folders will go home on Friday, February 26.
If you have not already done so, please send in an extra set of weather appropriate clothes for your child. Students also need to come to school each day with a jacket and dressed warmly enough to play outside for part of the day.
As always, we will always be here to help you in any way possible if you have any questions or concerns.

Health and Safety Measures
The health and safety of our children and families is always our highest priority. To mitigate the risks of COVID-19 while children are in our care, we have adopted additional health and safety measures based on CDC guidelines, state and local regulations, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Links 2 Home App Usage
We know that summer is a busy time for our families, and want to communicate school happenings as clearly as possible to ensure that no one is left out. Daily reports are sent via email each day, but our Links 2 Home app keeps all school communications in one place and is always accessible. The app also allows to you communicate absences to your child’s teacher, leave drop-off notes, and read teacher and administrative notes in detail.
If you’re not a current app user, we encourage you to visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download the app today. You will need to login with the email address you use for Alma. Please let us know if you have issues logging into Links 2 Home!

Our school does not follow the local elementary school schedule as we are open more days each year. For the 2020-2021 school year the days we are closed are:

“CHECK” IT OUT… No checks necessary! Enroll in our Automatic Payment Program and never write another check for your monthly tuition or pay another late payment. Tuition can be automatically deducted from your checking account. You can find more information about the ACH program here in the office. Also, let us know if you would like more info on Alma, our online parent portal. You can pay online, generate financial statements, and change your authorized pick-up list. Let us sign you up today!

When friends ask you about your child’s experiences at Chesterbrook Academy, what type of success stories do you share? Do you mention the personal and educational discoveries your child is making thanks to our advanced curriculum? Do you talk about the new levels of self and social confidence your child has gained thanks to our encouraging atmosphere? Whatever glowing reports you deliver about how your child is growing with his or her education, we couldn’t be more appreciative. In fact, we’d like to show you just how thankful we are for your endorsements. Now when you tell other parents about our school, you can become a Chesterbrook Academy Ambassador.
For every new child you refer who enrolls at our school for three months, you’ll receive one FREE week of tuition for your child.
