A Note From Our Principal
Happy April! Now that spring has arrived, we’re looking forward to spending even more time exploring the outdoors. Taking advantage of the beautiful weather helps children learn and grow as they discover new things in their environment. Our teachers are planning outdoor games, lessons and picnics to celebrate spring. We can’t wait to share these activities with your child.
Week of the Young Child
Week of the Young Child, April 4th-8th, is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers and families. We have many fun activities planned for Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Work Together Wednesday, Artsy Thursday and Family Friday. Do you have a favorite family recipe? Be sure to share it so it can be featured in our center wide Family Cook Book!
Our classes will be celebrating Earth Day by releasing ladybugs. Dress your child in black and red or anything with ladybugs on it that you may have. Leading up to Earth Day, our older children will be learning about the life cycle of the ladybug and other fun facts!
Parent Survey Reminder
Our enrolled parent survey closes April 15th. This survey provides the opportunity for you to give us feedback anonymously on our strengths and areas we can work on. Please let us know if you haven’t received it.
Love Our School? Review Us!
In today’s connected world, many families turn to online reviews to learn more about the reputation of schools. Just a reminder that you can find our school on Facebook, Google, Yelp and other online directories. We’d love more families like yours, so please consider spreading the word about our school.
