December 2022 Newsletter

Dear Chesterbrook Academy Families,

It crazy to think how 2022 has flown by. The year has been filled with so many memories we will cherish and hold onto but we are excited to move forward and see the amazing things that we will get to explore and experience in the new school year! With the new year, we are excited to be introducing and kicking out our updated Links to Learning Curriculum which families will start to see pieces added throughout the month of December to be fully implemented in January.

The month of December can move quickly for many families. Starting Monday, December 5th there will be schedules posted outside each classroom for the week of Christmas and the week between Christmas and New Years. We please ask you fill these out as soon as you know your child’s schedule so we can look at our staffing for these weeks. With a lot of families asking, below is a classroom break down with teachers who are in these rooms each day.

  • Infant A – Charly and Aubrey
  • Infant B – Jess, Serena, and Mercedes
  • Toddler A – Nikole and Jacquelyn
  • Toddler B – Collette and Sara
  • Beginners – Brooke and Steph
  • Beg / Intermediate – Anna and Walter
  • Intermediates – Erika, Mattie, and Camille
  • Pre-K A – Hector
  • Pre-K B – Thomasina and Lori
  • School Age – Michael

Some friendly reminders for our families:

  • Please ensure you take the time to check your child’s cubby to ensure that your child has appropriate clothing for the weather. Our goal is to go outside two times a day, so we want to ensure children have light jackets in case there is a chill.
  • Please ensure you are taking the time to look at your child’s daily report on the Links 2 Home app or in your email. Our staff are working hard to give you insights in your child’s daily development. We also post notifications for families of items your child might need including diapers, etc.
  • Please remember that Chesterbrook Academy is a nut free school. We want to ensure the safety of all our children and will not be able to serve items that contain Peanut Butter or anything containing nuts.

Have a great holiday season,

Mr. Zach
