Dear CBA Families,
We want to thank each and every one of you that came to our End of Summer Luau. We love getting everyone together to enjoy an evening of fun each year before the new school year begins. As we begin the new school year we want to extend a warm welcome to our new families and a sincere thank you to our returning families. We had such a wonderful summer and are looking forward to another successful year of learning, fun, and growth.
Our students have already been having so much fun getting to know their new teachers, learning the new routines, and learning new skills from our Links to Learning curriculum. If you’re not currently receiving photos and daily reports for your child please be sure to download the Links 2 Home app on your phone. Just type ‘Links 2 Home’ in the search bar for the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. After downloading Links 2 Home, you can register with the same email address that you used to enroll your child in our school. You can also use the app to communicate with your child’s teacher throughout the day!
National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15th to October 15th. Books are an easy and interactive way to expand your child’s awareness and appreciation of Hispanic culture. We’ve gathered three stories to read with your child: Coquí in the City by Nomar Perez, Round is a Tortilla: A Book of Shapes by Roseanne Greenfield Thong, and Camera Full of Wishes by Matt de la Peña.
This month we are also excited to welcome back Tumble Bus on Thursdays and Soccer Shots on Fridays. This is for all students age 2 and up. In our lobby you can find more information and directions on how to sign your child up. As a reminder, we will be closed on Monday, September 4th for Labor Day.
We look forward to another month of love, laughter, learning, and growth. Thank you, as always, for being the amazing families that you are!
Sincerely,
Kristie Salmon
