October Newsletter
We want to continue to welcome, or welcome back, all of our new students and families, in addition to all of our students that transitioned classrooms last month. Everyone is enjoying getting settled in, and we have a lot of exciting things planned this month! We look forward to participating in our Navaratri Celebration, picture day, and our pumpkin decorating, costume parade, and Trunk-or-Treat on Halloween! We will keep you updated via Links to Home. Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. We look forward to a Fun-Fall season filled with growth and learning.
Navaratri Celebration – 10/18
We will be celebrating Navaratri on Wednesday morning, on 10/18, and invite all families to join us for dancing! Please feel free to send your child in their traditional dress attire, or dress to impress on this day.
Picture Day – 10/19 & 10/20
We will be participating in a HOLIDAY themed picture day during these two days. Here is the schedule:
Thursday, October 19th – ALL siblings (and their individuals), Infant, Infant II, Toddler, Beginner, and Intermediate I
Friday, October 20th – Intermediate II, Pre-K, and Pre-K 2
Yes, we are taking HOLIDAY pictures before Halloween this year!
Read for the Record – 10/26
This year, our entire company will be participating in Read for the Record, which is the world’s largest shared reading experience! Each class will participate in reading the book; With Lots of Love by Jenny Torres Sanchez and engage in learning experiences throughout the week of October 23rd. We will be inviting some special guests as our readers, check back for more information!
Trunk-or-Treat – 10/31, 3pm
Are you interested in participating in our safe trick-or-treating event, and decorating your car?! Please sign up for our Trunk-or-Treat & Halloween celebration! Children will have an opportunity to wear their costumes, participate in a small pumpkin patch and pumpkin painting, and our Trunk-or-Treat. Everyone is welcome!
Ancillary
There are still spaces available for registration in our ancillary programs, Soccer Shots, and dance through Mercier School of Dance. Please see the front desk if you are interested in registration.
Family Referral Bonus & Open House
Do you know a colleague who has recently had a baby, a friend in need of care who just relocated to the area, or a family member who is seeking a new preschool for their child? Invite them to our Open House on October 21. When you refer a friend and they enroll, you’re eligible for a free week of tuition. Ask us for details!

Young children can quickly become overwhelmed by big feelings that lead to crying, meltdowns, aggression, and other challenging behaviors.
