Happy Birthday USA! We look forward to celebrating on the Fourth of July in our communities and with our family and friends. Chesterbrook staff would like to also celebrate with you as well. On Wednesday, July 5th, please join us for an ALL School Picnic here at our school from 11:30 to 12:30. A picnic lunch will be served buffet style, you may join your children in their classroom or bring a blanket and eat on our beautiful playground. Our school is open on July 3rd, closed on the 4th, and open the rest of the week.
The July calendar is filled with many other activities this month. Be sure to check your email for a copy of the activity calendar and menu for July. This information can also be found on our website at estelle.chesterbrookacademy.com.
The summer is well underway, just a few reminders, please bring refillable water bottles for your children if not already. We try to get outside in the early mornings before the heat and humidity become too unbearable. Please note that we do not take children outdoors if the temperature is above 90 degrees or the heat index is high. Please make sure your child has a bottle of sunscreen as well.
July brings an opportunity for Secret Readers to come and read to our children. There is a sign up sheet near the sign in I pad for two dates available. There will be August dates available as well. Readers can be parents, grandparents, aunts or uncles. Sign up or let Miss Wendy or Miss Stacey know. We will typically hide our Secret Reader until it is time to read. The children enjoy having new readers in our school.
Thank you for allowing us to care for your children each and everyday!
Warm Regards, Wendy Musser, Principal
