Dear Parent,

Since 2004, Chesterbrook Academy Elementary School in Naperville has been known for its excellence in kindergarten through eigth grade education. Over the years, parents have complimented us on our warm and enthusiastic teachers and our understanding of the needs of each child.

Our rigorous, standards-based curriculum was designed by the Nobel Learning Education Department, a team of highly skilled experts in curriculum design, instruction and assessment. We provide opportunities for students to master skills, solve problems, make positive decisions, and practice higher level thinking. Teachers personalize lessons to ensure that instruction is stimulating and challenging for each student. We believe that beyond the core subjects, classes in art, music, technology, Spanish and physical education are essential to educating the whole child.

Our curriculum is founded on rich and challenging content that engages students and inspires them to develop a love of learning. We understand, however, that students need more than academic knowledge to achieve future success. Field trips are one way to help students make real life connections to lessons learned in the classroom. We take advantage of the rich resources in our area with multiple field trips to such places as the Museum of Science and Industry, Cosley Zoo, Clayspace, Willowbrook Wildlife Center and the Apply store.

S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) activities are another example of experiential learning here at Chesterbrook Academy Naperville. Our Innovation Lab is equipped with computers, iPads, Apple TV and projector, green screen, Osmo, Ozobot, Sphero, Arduinos and more.  Students in Kindergarten through grade 2 participate in STEM class every 4th school day, and students in grades 3 and above participate in daily Innovation classes.  Our school assigns an iPad® to each student in 2nd grade and above.

Learning and enrichment continue before and after school. Our extended day program runs from 7:00-8:45am and from 3:45-6:30 pm, and includes fun and educational activities. We understand life can be hectic, and we are here to accommodate your busy schedule.  After school, students have the opportunity to complete their homework with a certified teacher and participate in a variety of clubs including chess, engineering, dance, soccer, karate, sculpting, cooking, coding, S.T.E.A.M. and more!

Please feel free to contact our Director of Admissions, Samantha Rudnicki, at samantha.rudnicki@nlcinc.com to schedule a private tour. We look forward to meeting with you to gain an understanding of your child’s educational needs.

Sincerely,

Jenae Kleifges, Principal
