A Message from the Principal:
Summer is flying by and we are already entering the month of August! Please take a look at our August newsletter here.
This month our students delivered donations to support the Fairfax County Animal Shelter. Students took a tour of the shelter and saw how they were able to help animals in need. In addition, we hosted a trike-a-thon to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Chesterbrook Academy was able to raise $635! Thank you to all of our families for helping out this great cause.
Save the date! Wednesday, September 9th from 6:30pm-7:30pm is Back-to-School Night! Come meet all of our teachers, learn about our curriculum and ask questions!
Important Dates:
- End of Summer Picnic: Friday, August 28th during your child’s scheduled lunch
- Water days are every Thursday.
- Funtastic Fitness: every other Monday.
- In House Shows: every other Wednesday.
- Please wear your camp t-shirt every Friday.
- CLOSED Monday, September 7th for Labor Day
- Back-to-School Night: Wednesday, September 9th
- Picture Day: September 16th
- Book Fair: September 28th-October 2nd
