The month of May is time to celebrate of Mothers, Teachers and of course the countdown to summer. The month of May is filled with many celebration activities as well as academic activities. Our teachers are working on completing the last Parent Reports for this academic year and planning ahead to create a wonderful but still educational “Preschool Camp”. Our Pre-Kindergarten children are getting ready to graduate on June 1st, parents watch for details to come soon.
The month of May is Teacher Appreciation Month; our 2016 Apple Awards will be available the week of May 2nd. Simply take a form, complete the form with an appreciation note to your child’s teacher. Children may also draw pictures for their teachers on the paper.

The new playground looks absolutely wonderful. The children are climbing and jumping to their heart’s content. There are still a few landscaping areas that need attention. The work has been scheduled; we are hoping to have our Playground Dedication on May 6th. Updates will follow.
Calling all of our Moms out there, please join us for “Muffins with Mom” on Monday, May 9th from 7 to 9 am. Help yourself to a quick breakfast with your son or daughter before starting your day.
The warmer weather is soon approaching; please make sure our children all have sunscreen for playing outdoors. Please also remember to bring in two sets of seasonal clothing, pants, shirts, socks, and underwear. For those children who are potty training, an extra pair of shoes is also best practice. If any of our families have taken home borrowed clothing from the preschool, please wash and return so we have them on hand for future needs.
Our Tadpoles system is mastered by our staff, we enjoy being able to send you more updates, pictures and notes concerning your child and the school. If any parent is not receiving communication please let Miss Wendy know as soon as possible.
