Happy New Year! It is hard to believe that 2018 is here!
Our children will be experiencing many activities in these winter months; including study of snow, winter animals and habitats and how to build a snowman! Please check our activity calendar this month for some “Fun January” days. Mark your calendar for International Night on Monday, January 22nd from 6 to 7 pm; come and meet our families who celebrate roots from different countries. There will be food, artifacts and fellowship this evening. The month of January will also bring snow, so please stay tuned to WGAL for weather delays or closings of our preschool. Parents will also get a personal email from the school if the school would be on a delay or close. Information will also be posted on our website as well.
Coming soon in the beginning of January is our Annual Parent Survey, all parents will be receiving a link in their email. Please consider taking a few minutes to let us know how we are doing! Your feedback is very important to us.
Please remember to bring in multiple changes of clothing for your children, especially those who are potty training. Our older children are also required to have a change of clothes as well. If spills or accidents occur we will change children into appropriate clothing if onsite, however if none are available we will contact parents to bring clothing. Weather permitting we do take children outside as temperature allows, please make sure your child also has a warm coat, hat, gloves/mittens and also boots. Boots can be kept here under the classroom cubbies.
Little Caesar’s Pizza Kits will go on sale in January too, look for detailed information coming soon.
Thank you to all of our families who graciously shared gifts and treats with us during the holiday season. We are honored to care and teach your children each and every day.
Warmest Regards,
Wendy A. Musser, Principal
