Dear Parents,
Well, here we are heading into the final days of summer. The 2019/2020 school year will be starting soon, and the children will be back hard at work. For now, we intend to enjoy every day of summer that is left. As a principal I consider August to be one of the most exciting times of the calendar year. Why you may ask! Well it’s the start of something new! New school year, new teacher, new friends, new classroom. It can be exciting to most children and nerve-wracking to some. As educators, we are here to make it a positive experience for all. I would like to welcome all our new families that have joined Chesterbrook Academy, thank you again for trusting us with your most prized possession. I am looking forward to seeing another year of great growth and learning. In order to help us to ensure a successful school year, I ask that you spend some time reading your child’s class parent handbook; doing so will ensure that we are all working together and have a shared understanding.
This summer was filled with wonderful memories, from water play, petting zoo, magic show, cooking projects, and so much more. I would like to give a huge thank you to all for your participation in our Kids Helping Kids event this summer! We originally set a goal of $1,000 and we surpassed it by raising a total of $1534.00, we are grateful for the opportunity to watch our students serve others and appreciate the role you all had in this.
Don’t forget to join us for Open House this Saturday August 3rd, new families will receive 50% off registration. Current families spread the word about our school and save on tuition; for more information on this great offer please stop by and see the principal. Hats off to a new school year!!
