We hope 2026 is off to a wonderful start for you and your family! Here at school, our students have been busy learning, exploring, and building friendships each day.
With Valentine’s Day approaching, we’re looking forward to celebrating kindness and caring through fun, age-appropriate activities your children will love. Along the way, we’ll continue supporting important social-emotional skills that help children grow both in and out of the classroom.

February is Black History Month, a meaningful time to celebrate the achievements and contributions of African Americans throughout history. In our classrooms, children will explore inspiring individuals through books, hands-on activities, and thoughtful conversations tailored to their age and understanding.
We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Friday, February 13th. Children are welcome to bring in valentines to share with their classmates and will participate in Valentine-themed activities throughout the day.

Join us for our Sweetheart Dance on Friday, February 20th from 6:00–7:30 PM. Come enjoy dancing, snacks, and a fun craft with your child—we hope to see you there!

The Crouching Tigers program currently needs two more sign-ups in order to run this session. If the minimum enrollment is not met, we will be unable to offer it this session.
Our Book Fair will take place March 2nd–March 6th.
School-Age Summer Camp enrollment is now open! If you have older children who would like to attend this summer, spots can be reserved now.
Please remember that we will be closed on Monday, February 16th for our Professional Development Day. Our teachers will be participating in annual training with all Illinois schools.
