Autumn has been filling our days with exploration, play, and meaningful learning! This month, we’re focusing on gratitude and the special connections we share with our families. Our students will be participating in activities that celebrate kindness, giving back, and appreciation for the people and community around them.
We are so thankful for each of our families and for the trust you place in us every day. We look forward to another month of discovery, joy, and togetherness!

🎁 Holiday Giving
Our annual Holiday Giving initiative is a wonderful way for students to spread cheer this season while learning about gratitude and generosity.
This year, we’ll be collecting new, unopened toys for Childhood Cancer Warriors, a local charity that provides gifts to families whose children are currently receiving cancer treatments in the hospital.
We’ll begin collecting items in November and continue into December. The final collection day will be announced soon.

🥣 Mealtime Update
We’re excited to announce that we’ll be switching to a new food vendor starting in December! Ahead of that, a new corporate menu will roll out in November.

📚 Scholastic Book Fair
Get ready for our Scholastic Book Fair — coming December 1st–5th in the school lobby! There will be lots of wonderful holiday selections for every reader.
🥧 Share Your Family’s Favorite Recipe!
We’re creating a Chesterbrook 2025 Family Cookbook and would love to feature your favorite fall or winter holiday recipe!

🤠 Texas Roadhouse Family Night Out
Join us for a Chesterbrook Night Out at Texas Roadhouse on November 10th from 4:00–8:00 p.m.

🦃 Thanksgiving Week Sign-Up
A Thanksgiving Week Sign-Up Sheet will be posted outside each classroom.We will schedule staff according to sign-ups so teachers can enjoy time with their families.
Hours for Thanksgiving Week:
If you plan to use your vacation credit, please provide at least two weeks’ notice.Families must be enrolled for at least 6 months to be eligible for one vacation week per year.If you’re unsure of your eligibility, please check with the office.

🧣 Cooler Weather Reminder
Cooler temperatures are here! Please check your child’s cubby to make sure they have season-appropriate clothing for accidents or messy play (long sleeves, pants, socks, etc.).
We go outside twice a day (weather permitting), so make sure your child has a warm coat, hat, and gloves as needed.Please label all items with your child’s name.
