As the holiday season approaches, we’re excited to celebrate community, diversity, and the spirit of giving. Throughout the month, our students will explore traditions from around the world through hands-on activities, music, art, and more. We are committed to creating a nurturing environment that honors each family’s unique customs, and we look forward to sharing these meaningful experiences with your children.

🎁 Holiday Giving
Our annual Holiday Giving initiative is a beautiful opportunity for students to spread cheer while learning about gratitude and generosity. This year, we are collecting new, unopened toys for Childhood Cancer Warriors, a local charity that provides gifts for families whose children are currently undergoing cancer treatment in the hospital.
Donations will be accepted through December 12th. Thank you for your kindness and generosity!

Students will enjoy festive classroom celebrations on December 19th.
📋 Holiday Week Sign-Up
A sign-up sheet for attendance during Christmas and New Year’s weeks will be posted outside each classroom. Staffing will be scheduled based on sign-ups to allow our teachers time with their families.

Vacation Credit Reminder:
Please provide two weeks’ notice if you plan to use vacation credit.
Families must be enrolled for at least six consecutive months to receive one vacation week per year.

On Friday, December 12, send your child in their coziest pajamas for a magical celebration! In honor of our 40th anniversary—and the 40th anniversary of The Polar Express—students will enjoy a special reading, festive snacks, and holiday cheer. This is for students only.

📚 Scholastic Book Fair
Join us in the school lobby December 1st–5th for our Scholastic Book Fair! Browse a wonderful selection of holiday titles for all ages.
🎁 Gifts for Teachers
Many families enjoy showing appreciation during the holiday season. If you’re looking for ideas, our Teacher Favorites Book will be available in the front office—just like last year!
💚 The Grinch Party
Join us for our festive Grinch Party on December 19th from 6:00–7:30 PM!
We’ll enjoy dinner, a movie, sweet treats, crafts, and even a visit from Santa.
This event is sign-up only, so please stop by the office to reserve your family’s spot.
Looking for a Santa
We are looking for someone who would like to be Santa and dress up for the Grinch Party! If anyone would like to play Santa we have the costume.
Soccer Shots Winter Session
Soccer Shots will be hosting and indoor session for the winter!! Ages 2 and up. They will be coming on Friday to do a demo. If you are interested in signing up let the office know.
