April is full of fresh beginnings and exciting learning adventures! This month, our students will enjoy seasonal fun and lessons about caring for our planet for Earth Day. We’ll also celebrate the Week of the Young Child, honoring the joy of early learning and all the ways children grow and thrive. We can’t wait to share everything month has in store!

Week of the Young Child

Week of the Young Child, April 13–17, is an annual celebration of early learning, young children, and the adults who support them, sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Our school will join the fun with hands-on, collaborative activities in music, art, food, and more. By celebrating together, we reaffirm our commitment to giving every child early learning experiences that build a strong foundation for the future. Stay tuned for more details via Links 2 Home!

Ladybug Launch – 4/22

Our annual ladybug launch is coming! Please join us for our Earth Day event on Wednesday 4/22 at 4:00pm. We will be meeting in the field to launch ladybugs for Earth Day. If an adult cannot attend, no need to worry, your child will still release ladybugs. However, we will have snacks and fun for the remainder of the day until 6:00. All are welcome and we hope to see you there!

Family Referral Bonus

Do you know a colleague who has recently had a baby, a friend in need of care who just relocated to the area, or a family member who is seeking a new preschool for their child? When you refer a friend and they enroll, you’re eligible for a free week of tuition. Ask us for details!

Sunscreen – We are approaching sunscreen season! In the coming weeks, please bring sunscreen for your child – NO SPRAYS! Along with the sunscreen, there are “over the counter” forms in the lobby (located under the tv) to be completed for permission to apply the sunscreen along with the product information. Please hand the form and the sunscreen in together and directly to your child’s teacher.

Parking Lot Safety – It has been brought to our attention that many parents are driving quickly in and out of the parking lot. Please be sure to drive slowly and take your time. We appreciate your support in this matter. The safety of our students and families is our first priority.

Summer Camp – Please complete the form below with your summer plans! If your child is graduating, staying or attending a different summer camp, please let us know and provide a date as soon as possible. Camp fees will be assessed late May/early June, and we want to ensure all schedules are accurate to avoid fees being applied incorrectly. You do NOT need to re-register for summer camp. If your child is staying at CBA, your enrollment and tuition will continue.

Vacations – Warm weather is coming and so are vacations! Please be sure to email and complete a vacation form in the lobby at least two weeks in advance to ensure your vacation is processed appropriately. You have one week per year after 6 months of enrollment that renews on 6/29.
