The Kindergarten year is one that families never forget, and we treat it that way. The curiosity, confidence, and early skills children built in their preschool years take on new academic form. Our full-day Kindergarten program gives children the time and space to go deeper, move at their own pace, and build the confidence that comes from truly mastering a concept. Strong literacy and math skills, alongside communication, creativity, and collaboration, are the hallmarks of every student who walks out of our Kindergarten classroom. A rigorous, well-rounded curriculum designed to grow the whole child Personalized instruction tailored to each child’s learning style A 1:1 iPad program aligned with International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) standards Hands-on projects that connect classroom learning to real-world experiences Progress assessments three times per year to track growth and guide instruction What Subjects Are Covered in Kindergarten? Reading Language Arts Reading is the gateway to every other subject, and in our Kindergarten classroom, literacy is treated with the seriousness it deserves. Children develop letter recognition, phonics, vocabulary, and writing skills through rich, engaging instruction that builds confident readers and expressive communicators who love to share what they know. Mathematics Our Kindergarten math program transforms abstract concepts into concrete understanding. Children count, recognize numbers and patterns, explore shapes, measure, and begin to solve problems, developing the mathematical reasoning and enthusiasm for numbers that will carry them throughout their academic journey. Social Studies Understanding the world begins close to home. In Kindergarten, children explore their community, learn to read simple maps, and discover how history and tradition shape the people and places around them. These experiences build empathy, perspective, and a growing sense of how each person and place contributes to the wider world. Science Hands-on experiments bring curiosity to life as children investigate plants, animals, and the forces that shape the natural world, developing the confidence to ask questions, test ideas, and discover answers on their own. Technology Digital literacy is a foundational skill for the world our children are growing into. Aligned with ISTE standards, our technology program introduces children to basic computer skills, early coding concepts, and purposeful use of digital tools. Each student receives their own iPad, making learning personal, engaging, and future-ready. Spanish Through songs, games, and playful instruction, children develop Spanish vocabulary, simple phrases, and an ear for pronunciation, while gaining a deeper appreciation for the cultures and communities that speak it. Our Kindergarten students discover that learning a new language is something to celebrate.
