Dear Families,
Happy December! 2020 has been a year of changes, family time, and many different uncertainties. All of the staff here at Chesterbrook Academy are very thankful for your constant support and for letting us watch your children grow each and every day. With the year 2020, Chesterbrook Academy has gone through some very hard changes that we know have affected your lives, but our goal is to create a well rounded, educational program that provides a safe and healthy environment.
During this month, we will work on spreading Holiday cheer through various projects around the school and with our families. First we are very excited for our Elf on the shelf to return December 4th! We will then kick off our Holiday Giving project – The Mitten Tree. More information will come out about this project soon. We will begin Christmas week with our annual Polar Express Day, which will be filled with fun activities revolving around the wonderful Children’s book. To see all of the important dates, please visit our Calendar.
With the weather changing, please take the time to send in some winter weather clothing to keep in children’s cubbies. If you are unsure of what you currently have in your child’s cubby, please reach out and we will have the classroom teachers look.
Some friendly reminders:
- Chesterbrook Academy closes at 3:00pm on Christmas Eve
- Chesterbrook Academy is closed Christmas Day
- Chesterbrook Academy is closed New Year’s Day.
We look forward to the amazing learning experiences that will occur throughout the month and we look forward to moving into the New Year.
Thank you and have an amazing December!
