December Newsletter

A Note from Our Assistant Principal

Dear Families,

It is hard to believe December is upon us!  We have had a fun and busy month!  I want to take a moment to thank everyone for your support as we move forward after Miss Pam’s retirement, your kind words have meant a lot!  As the winter season approaches, we are filled with excitement for the festivities ahead. We believe in creating a nurturing environment that celebrates the rich traditions that make each family unique. This month, our students will delve into different holiday traditions from all corners of the globe through hands-on activities, music, art, and more. Stay tuned for more information via Links 2 Home.

Together, let’s make this holiday season a time of warmth, connection, and shared memories.

Sincerely,
Chrissy

Holiday Giving
Our annual holiday giving initiative is a way for students to spread cheer this holiday season while developing an appreciation for what they have, showing gratitude towards others, and seeing the positive impact of their actions. This year, we are collecting New Pajamas for children in need to have warm festive pajamas for the holidays!  Thank you for your generosity in helping others in need.

Family Referral Bonus

Do you know a colleague who has recently had a baby, a friend in need of care who just relocated to the area, or a family member who is seeking a new preschool for their child? When you refer a friend and they enroll, you’re eligible for a free week of tuition. Ask us for details!

Did You Know?

Children develop a stronger sense of belonging when given opportunities to talk about their family members, their memories, and traditions.

A few notes as we move into December:

As the cold weather is upon us, please remember our parking lot is a non-idling zone.  We understand most of us have key fobs now, but in the effort to keep everyone safe we ask that when exiting your car to turn it off, take your keys and lock the doors.  This time of the year is also prime time for thieves to break into cars, so please be safe!

Please make sure to check your child’s cubby for weather appropriate change of clothing as well as hats and mittens for the playground.  We will still attempt to go outside as long as the temps stay within our range.

Due to the change in weather and salt that will be used to keep our parking lot safe we will be going back to no street shoes in the infant room.  Parents and older siblings have the options to either take off their shoes before entering or putting the provided booties over their shoes.  This will help to minimize the salt being brought into the room where they young ones put everything into their mouths.  Thank you for your cooperation!

Important Dates:

Snowflake Festival: Friday December 15th

Holiday Closures: Friday December 22 and Monday December 25

Early Closing: Friday December 29th at 12pm

Thank you!
