Frequently Asked Questions Does Chesterbrook Academy Elementary West Chester provide transportation for my child? We offer transportation between our sister preschools in Exton and Malvern. What is the school’s uniform policy? We require all students to wear a school uniform unless otherwise directed. Daily Uniform: Girls and boys wear a green or blue polo shirt with khaki shorts, pants, or skirts. PE Uniform: On PE days, our students wear a PE t-shirt and mesh shorts or sweatpants and sneakers. Shoes & Socks: On regular uniform days, students wear brown shoes with white, green, or blue socks. Sneakers are only for PE days. UGG® boots are not allowed during the school day. Spirit Shirts: Students can buy and wear school spirit shirts. Spirit shirts are sold at the school and not through Tommy Hilfiger Uniforms. For more details, check our Elementary School Family Handbook. Where can I purchase my child’s uniform and logo wear? Uniforms and logo wear are available through School Uniforms by Tommy Hilfiger. Use school code CHESS1. In addition, the CBA Parent Advisory Council (PAC) runs a “New-to-You” uniform sale throughout the year where gently used uniforms can be purchased at a discounted rate. PAC accepts donations for the sale year-round. Does Chesterbrook Academy Elementary in West Chester provide lunch? We offer an optional lunch program for purchase at $7 per day. All meals come with a fruit or veggie and milk. We issue a menu each month. We also offer the option to participate in Pizza Fridays. Your purchase includes unlimited pizza, a veggie or fruit, and milk. Of course, students are always welcome to bring a peanut-free brown bag lunch. What are the hours of operation at your school? Our academic day is 8:30 am–3:30 pm. Extended hours are 7:00 am–6:00 pm. Is your school accredited? Yes. We are fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA). Can children who are not enrolled join Chesterbrook Academy Elementary camps? Yes! We are excited to welcome children from the West Chester community to our camps. Our summer camps are open to all children from preschool through 6th grade, whether they are enrolled at our school or not. Holiday break camps may be reserved for enrolled students only, depending on availability. How does Chesterbrook Academy compare to surrounding schools?
