From the Principal’s Office
Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a great 2017 followed by a great start to 2018! By now, parents should have received a link to our annual parent survey. The survey takes just a few minutes to complete and allows parents to provide feedback on their experiences at Chesterbrook. The ratings and comments allow us to know what areas were are doing well, as well as what we can improve on to make your family’s experience at Chesterbrook as fulfilling as possible! We appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedules to complete the survey and provide us with your feedback.
Until next month,
Vikki & Tracy

For Parents and Teachers
Please join us in participating in our winter service project! We will be collecting canned and non-perishable food items from January 8th – 19th at the front desk. At the end of the collection, our Pre-K and Kindergarten classes will be delivering the food to the Home Sweet Home Mission on behalf of the school. We appreciate all of our families helping with our winter food drive!
As we are in the middle of the cold winter months, please help us keep our teachers and children healthy by encouraging your child to wash their hands when they arrive at school each morning. Please also remind your child to cover his or her mouth when coughing or sneezing and to wash their hands often.
For Parents
Year-end statements are available and have been passed out to each family. These statements provide all the necessary information for tax purposes. If you have any other questions or need an additional copy, please stop by the front desk.
Reminders
Our classes continue to go outside during the winter, as the weather permits. Please make sure your child is prepared for outside play with a hat, coat, and gloves at all times, as well as an additional change of clothes.
If your school age child does not need to be picked up by Chesterbrook in the afternoon, please let us know by 1:30 so we may inform the bus drivers and change bus routes accordingly.
