March is here! And with it comes spring! We here at Chesterbrook Academy are so excited for this season of budding new opportunities. Our budding learners will use their five senses to explore the new season: hearing the birds chirp, seeing the flowers blossom, smelling the fresh flowers, feeling the warm breeze and tasting the fresh fruits and vegetables.
March is also the month where we celebrate renowned author Dr. Seuss with a literacy burst! Throughout the month of March, all of our classes will be reading Dr. Seuss books. Students will learn about rhyming words and use their imaginations to create crazy new characters.
We have lots going on in our school throughout the month of March:
- Wednesdays at 10:00am – Lil’ Sports
- Thursdays at 10:00am – Makin’ Music
- Fridays at 10:00am – Yoga
- Starting March 27th, Tuesdays at 10:00am – Soccer Shots
The last week in March will be our Dr. Seuss Week:
- Monday March 26th – Mismatch Day
- Tuesday March 27th – Crazy Sock Day
- Wednesday March 28th – Backwards Day
- Thursday March 29th – Crazy Hat Day
- Friday March 30th – Wear Stripes like the Cat in the Hat
