From the Principal’s Office
As August begins, we say goodbye to all the fun of summer camp and welcome a new school year! We are all working hard to prepare class lists, bus routes, cubby boxes, bulletin boards, and classrooms for the new year. Several students will be moving into new classrooms for the start of the school year, so please be on the look out for move-up sheets.
Please remember to always sign your child in or out on the iPad at the front desk. If you need a pin number for a new authorized pick-up person or are having trouble with your pin number, please stop by the office of send us an email!
As always, we are trying to keep up the communication, through phone calls, emails, and messages on Tadpoles. Please remember to check your email or the Links 2 Home app throughout the day to see any messages from the office or teachers. Also, Links 2 Home is an easy way to send messages to the teachers that they can check throughout the day.
Until next month,
Vikki and Tracy

If your child is moving up, we will move all of their materials, including blankets and sheets up to their new class. If your child is moving from Pre-K to Kindergarten, please take all nap materials home with you.

We are developing the bus schedules for the upcoming school year. If we provide transportation for your child, please let us know of any changes to their schedule so we can accommodate it in the new schedule.
Please make sure to keep a complete change of clothes in your child’s cubby at all times. Remember, your child is constantly growing and the weather is always changing, so please make sure to keep appropriate clothes on hand in case of an accident or extra messy day.

School Highlights
INFANTS: The month of July was very busy in our Infant classroom! We welcomed a new friend this month! Many of our friends reached major milestones, such as rolling over, sitting up on their own, and crawling! The spent the month exploring new textures, playing together, and painting.
TODDLERS: The Toddler class had a fantastic month learning about dinosaurs, aliens, and other animals. We loved the brightly colored stories about the animals and learning where they live and eat. We also learned about camping and pretended to go on a trip ourselves.
BEGINNERS: It has been a messy month in the Beginner classroom. They explored many different science and sensory materials. We played in the water table, dug for dinosaur fossils, and used our sense while digging for worms in dirt.
INTERMEDIATES: This month was all about getting active and being healthy in our Intermediate rooms. We learned the rules of several different sports and discovered how to work as a team. We spent a lot of time outside and worked on eating healthy meals!
PRE-K: July was a busy, fun month for our Pre-K friends! We had some amazing field trips this month, as well as a ton of fun at Chesterbrook. One of our favorites was the week of glow in the dark and neon activities, complete with a neon glow dance party! Throughout the fun, we have worked on Kindergarten readiness, with specific on language and math skills.
