We had a great first month of 2018 and are looking forward to spending the rest of this winter season with you and your children. Our teachers and staff are hard at work creating meaningful learning experiences for the month of February. Thank you to those of you that participated in our annual parent survey, we appreciate your feedback and support! When the survey results are in, we will be examining them carefully for areas of improvement and will share our plan with you when it’s ready.
We will be holding classroom Valentine’s Day celebrations on February 14th. Your child’s classroom teacher will communicate with you all through Tadpoles on any items that are needed or special activities the class is planning. If you are planning on bringing a special treat for your child’s class please let us know in advance.
Attached are the menu and calendar for the month of February. We have many fun activities to look forward to. Please take note that we have two Art to Remember nights in which you can make an original piece of artwork with your child. Please see your child’s teacher for more details.
Also, we are offering a free vision screening for children 6 months through 5 years old. I will send more information on that later this week. It is voluntary and free of charge!
Finally, we are having a dental health presentation at the end of the month. We always look forward to Dr. Majumdar’s fun and informative show!
As a reminder:
* We are a peanut free school.
* If your child is sick, we will adhere to our sick policy.
* Please make sure to check your child’s cubby and/or mailbox for important information.
I hope you have a fun and safe month!
Sincerely,
Michele Somishka
