Wow this school year has flown by so fast! We are coming up to the last month of school. The children have grown so much over the year! Please let the office know what your summer plans are so that we can make class lists for the summer. Summer transitions will take place the week of June 10th. VPK graduates, don’t forget to sign up for our Kindergarten Kickoff program. If you need more information about the program see the front office.
Graduation will be on Saturday, June 8th at 11:00am. Children must arrive at Sagemont lower campus by 10:30am. Please, make sure that the children are fed and ready in their caps and gowns. Children may wear whatever attire they would like underneath their cap and gown. Hair should be styled in a way that allows the cap to fit properly.
We will be hosting Muffins for Mom on Friday, May 10th during drop off times. Plan on spending a few extra minutes to enjoy a morning snack so that we can show our appreciation to all of our lovely moms!!
Tuition is due on the Friday before the week of attendance. If tuition is behind your child will not be permitted to attend. Remember we accept money order, check, auto-deduction at no extra cost to you and we do accept debit/credit cards with the VISA, MasterCard and Discover logos but there is an additional 3% fee for using a card. You may also log on to your account online and pay online. WE DO NOT ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS!!!!
This month’s in lieu of Wacky Wednesday we will be celebrating annual Red Nose Day on Thursday, May 23rd. You can purchase your red noses at your local Walgreens stores and we will have some available in the front office for purchase while supplies last.
We will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, May 9th from 5-7pm. This is for new families to look into the school and get information. If you know anyone interested, you can let them know about this date. Remember that any family that you refer who registers and stays enrolled for 90 days will earn you a free week tuition for full time enrollments or $100 off a week for part time enrollments. Get those referrals out! Make sure that the family states your name during the tour.
Remember if your child is eligible to attend VPK in the fall now is the time to turn in your VPK certificate. You can register for the certificate by going to www.ELCbroward.org.

We are offering Amazing Athletes on Mondays. Amazing Athletes is a sports program that encompasses 9 different sports and character development. They also teach good nutrition choices. . To sign up see the front office.
On Wednesdays, we will continue our dance program. They are exposed to jazz, hip-hop and ballet style of dance. At the end of the school year there is an optional recital at additional cost that your child can choose to be a part of. Dance is offered through Dance Through The Ages. . You can sign up for dance through the front office.
Thursdays we will be continuing our Yoga program with My Little Yogi. Experience relaxation and mental cleansing. For pricing information and how to sign up see the front office.
Fridays we have our Soccer program with Soccer Shots. Soccer Shots teaches the basic skills associated with playing soccer as well as teamwork. For pricing information and how to sign up see the front office.

The purpose of our sick policy is to reduce the spread of illness among our students and to encourage full recuperation of sick children before they return to school. We depend on parents to assist us in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all of our children.
Sick Policy:
Children may be sent home if they have any concerning symptoms. In addition, a child must be free of all of these symptoms for at least 24 hours before he/she can return to school. These symptoms include:
- A Fever of 100 degrees or more
- Vomiting within the previous 24-hour period
- Diarrhea within the previous 24-hour period
- Symptoms of a communicable disease
- Fussy, cranky behavior and generally not himself/ herself
Following an illness, a child may return to school once he/she has either been seen by a doctor or it has been determined that illness is not contagious. (A doctor’s clearance may be requested.) Please help us keep all of our children healthy by following these rules. If you have any questions or concerns please let us know. Thank you for your support!

Signing your child in and out daily is not only a licensing and company policy but, an added security measure, which ensures all children are accounted for while in our care. PLEASE, BE DILIGENT ABOUT RECORDING YOUR CHILD’S ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES using the ipad located at the front entrance. Thank you!
TUITION:
We have seen a recent increase in families missing tuition payment deadlines. We really must collect tuition in a timely manner to meet our financial obligations. Please remember that tuition is due the 1st business day of every week. Accounts not paid in full by 12:00pm the second business day of every week are subject to late fees. If tuition is not paid in full your child may not attend until the balance is paid in full. Failure to comply with tuition policies will result in a notice of dis-enrollment. If you’d like to sign up for our ACH program, which automatically pulls your weekly tuition from the account of your choice the 1st business day of every week, just let us know and we will get you signed up.
ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS FEES:
If your child is signed up to attend a specific enrichment program, the monthly fee must be paid in full the first week of every month or your child may not attend the second week. Please understand, we are obligated to pay our physical fitness vendors in a timely manner for their services. Credits will not be issued for missed classes due to absence or non-payment.
CATERED LUNCH PROGRAM
ADVANCE ORDERING REQUIRED
Monthly lunch order forms are available two weeks prior to each new month. Please be sure to turn your lunch order in with payment no later than the posted deadline. Late orders may not be honored. Pizza Friday orders for the entire month must also be turned in by the deadline.
