Hello Chesterbrook families and friends,
I am excited to kick off another back-to-school season with all of you. As I enter my third year as the principal here at Chesterbrook Academy in Cooper City I continue to be amazed at how we continue to reach new heights and soar for excellence. I want to invite you to our Back to School night on Monday August 15th from 6:15 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. During this time we will share all we have planned for the school year. Our yummy lunch program will be here sampling their natural and organic lunches, our enrichment coordinator Ms. Dole will be featuring our 2016-17 academic school year center court enrichment’s and our specials like soccer and dance program managers will be available to speak with parents and so much more. If you can’t make it to back to school night join us for our back to school parent advisory group meeting on Wednesday August 17th from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. where parent’s who want to volunteer their time, play an integral part of the school culture gather to ensure that the school community is supported by active parents and an active parent voice.
Below I outlined some important dates for August as we close out a summer filled with weekly camps that drove the children’s skills and exploration. Our Summer VPK program will be celebrating their accomplishments during summer vpk graduation and we will be transitioning into Back to School. If you would like to R.S.V.P for any of our upcoming events or simply would like to stop in for a tour please feel free to contact an administrator at the school.

August 6th: Open House and VPK Orientation from 10 a.m. – 1p.m.
August 8th – 12th: End of the summer spirit week
August 9th: Summer VPK Graduation
August 10th: End of the summer water field day
August 15th: Back to School Night 6:15 – 7:15 p.m.
August 17th: Parent Advisory Group Meeting 5:30-6:15 p.m.
August 19th: School Closed for professional development day and teacher planning
August 22nd: First Day of VPK
